Community Resource Center Opens, Providing Free Essential Daily Items

June 1, 2017

With doors opening on June 7th, 2017, the Community Resource Center will provide clothes, furniture, and household items free of charge to refugees and immigrants struggling in the community.  They also provide one-on-one and small group language conversation hours, computer and software training, interview coaching, and résumé preparation.  Anyone who has items to donate or is interested in volunteering with the Resource Center can contact us directly at the email address or telephone number provided below.

Thus far, an overwhelming number of C-U residents have donated clothing, household items, and funds to help offset the cost of daily living expenses for new arrivals.  The generosity of the C-U community has made a brick and mortar location possible and the Three Spinners team would like to express their sincerest gratitude for each and every person who has contributed to this effort.
